The Tanners Arms, Horsham

If you're a Tanners Arms regular, then you'll know that there have been some changes in recent times. If you haven't already been down to the Tanners Arms in Horsham since Lyndsay and friends took over earlier this year, here's a taste of what's on-offer:

We serve a variety of drinks and (sometime soon) good food. We also have regular gigs, and we're hoping to organize some great trips. The Tanners is an ideal meeting-place, refuge from the pressures of life and stop-off during local events or while you're visiting local attractions. If you'd like to exercise your 'grey-matter' in a relaxing atmosphere, then would you like to attend a quiz? And if you'd like to celebrate a birthday, engagement, divorce (?!) etc, why not hold your function at the Tanners Arms? If you'd like further information, then please feel free to contact us.

Indoors, besides the bar, we have a performance area for our gigs, a spacious bar area and a 'snug'. If you want to keep yourself amused while having a drink, there's a fruit-machine and dart-board. From time to time, we may also exhibit some local artists' work. (And if you like any of it, it'll be available to purchase). Watch out for further announcements via this site.

To the rear, there's a large, part-paved, part-grassy area (see the photos to the right), with benches and tables, and of course a smokers' area. It's south-facing, so acts as a very good sun-trap.

The pub (which takes its name from the tanning industry in the area) and Horsham town certainly have their history!
